Dieses Übungsheft ist und bleibt das Beste. Vom vermutlich besten Trompeter aller Zeiten. Ich spiele es seit Jahren täglich. Danke, Herbert L. Clarke.
Das Heft gehört mit Sicherheit zum Besten, was es an Trompetenliteratur gibt. Ein absoluter Klassiker. Nur schade, dass ich nicht schon früher darauf gestoßen bin. Abgesehen vom technischen Aspekt präsentiert Clarke hier eine geniale Methode zum Aufbau eines sicheren Trompetenansatzes.
Auf den ersten Blick hat es da viele Sechzehntel-Noten, alle in einer Zeile, die zu wiederholen ist. Auf den zweiten Blick stellt man fest, dass der Autor den Schüler diese Zeilen gnadenlos in sämtlichen Tonarten, schön chromatisch ansteigend, spielen lässt. Und dann wirds spannend, denn man merkt plötzlich, dass das, was in A-Dur noch gut ging, in Fis-Dur ganz ordinäre Probleme bereitet.Ich hatte noch nie eine so gute Übungsliteratur!
Da kommt der Spaß erst richtig auf! Warum Stücke spielen, wenn es auch viel interessanter geht? Ein Muss für alle die meinen, dass die Finger noch nicht schnell genug sind

Der Erfolg ist dann proportional zur Menge des eingesetzten Schweisses...
